Rzeszów University of Technology co-organises NATO workshop in Istanbul

Rzeszow University of Technology, Kutahya Dumlupinar Turkey University, National Technical University of Ukraine, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Riga Technical University were co-organisers of the workshop ‘Critical Infrastructure Protection in Response to Terrorist Attacks’, held in Istanbul on 23-25 October 2023 as part of the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme.

During the workshop, Rzeszów University of Technology was represented by Rector Prof. Piotr Koszelnik, Vice Rector for Development and Cooperation with the Environment Prof. Jarosław Sęp, Head of the Department of Avionics and Control Prof. Tomasz Rogalski, Head of the Department of Complex Systems Prof. Dominik Strzałka, Dr Eng. Grzegorz Drupka, Director of the Aeronautical Training Centre Dr Eng. Arkadiusz Rzucidło and Dr Eng. Piotr Grzybowski.

Prof. Jarosław Sęp gave a presentation on ‘Analysis of threats to critical infrastructure facilities’, and Prof. Piotr Koszelnik together with Prof. Dominik Strzałka devoted their speech to potential threats to critical infrastructure in Poland.
