Opole University of Technology will receive funding from the National Academic Exchange Agency’s STER programme – Internationalisation of Doctoral Schools. This will provide doctoral students at the Opole university with new opportunities – including elite workshops, an additional stipend and several weeks’ internships abroad.

“The project concerns the internationalisation of the doctoral school. We are talking about the internationalisation of both the education process and the research process, as well as attracting scientists from abroad: the young ones who will earn their doctoral degrees at the polytechnic, but also the experienced ones with achievements who will be the promoters of our students”, says Anna Pieloch, head of the Science Department at the Opole University of Technology.

The doctoral school at the Opole University of Technology currently has 100 students. 33 of them are working on implementation doctorates. Starting this academic year, the doctoral school educates in 10 scientific disciplines.
