Warsaw University of Life Sciences joins the “YOUAREIN – YOUng AgRifood European Innovators” project

The Faculty of Food Technology at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) is participating in the project “YOUAREIN – YOUng AgRifood European Innovators” in the framework of the “Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education” of the Erasmus+ programme.

SGGW is the coordinator of the project, which aims to develop a multifunctional multimedia training course on innovative strategies for producing economically, environmentally and socially sustainable food products. 

The course developed as part of the project will address alternative methods, new ingredients, as well as building the awareness of a new generation of entrepreneurs so that their interest in investing in sustainability is a core principle of their business rather than a forced practice, reports SGGW.

The platform with the online course will be available in 2024.  

Partners in the project are: Universidade Catolica Portuguesa and Escola Superior deBiotecnologia from Portugal, the European Food Information Council (Belgium) and : Food Hub, Alma Mater Studiorum – Universita di Bologna and Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences from Italy.
