The Nicolaus Copernicus University Library in Toruń, as a beneficiary of the long-standing National Reading Development Programme 2.0, has been connected to the integrated library resource management system and has begun cooperating with 130 other co-cataloguing institutions.

The National Library’s integrated catalogue allows searching through descriptions of library materials, which include: books and periodicals published since the 19th century, ephemeral prints, old prints, manuscripts, music, sound and audiovisual collections, electronic publications, cartographic, iconographic, bibliological and microfilm collections, as well as descriptions of articles from selected Polish periodicals and collective works. 

Extensive cooperation within a nationwide network, made possible by the implementation of uniform rules for cataloguing collections, benefits library staff, who are able to manage their collections more efficiently, and readers, who gain wider, faster and clearer access to information.
