The Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) has formally joined the United Nations Global Compact – the world’s largest UN initiative for sustainable business. 

The UN Global Compact brings together entities working with the UN and developing strategies and actions based on UN policies, in particular the Sustainable Development Goals and the UNGC Ten Principles in four areas: human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption.

Presence in the UNGC is a great honour and commitment for SGH. For the 2030 Agenda to become a reality, the broad commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals must translate into a strong commitment from all stakeholders to implement these global goals, the SGH Gazette emphasises.
