The Doctoral School of the Gdansk University of Technology has become a member of two recognised international networks linking doctoral schools: the Pride Network and the EUA (European University Association) – CDE (Council for Doctoral Education).
Both organisations are a source of inspiration, a place to obtain and exchange information that is useful or necessary for the development of the doctoral education process and the professionals involved, and they promote quality in education, promotor care and processes supporting education. Presence in these organisations fosters collaboration and new contacts.
Among the activities of the two organisations are the exchange of experience and knowledge, the creation, support and promotion of good and proven practices, the establishment of professional service standards, the collection and sharing of resources related to the organisation of doctoral education and the promotion of training opportunities to enhance the competences of professionals in this area.
