The Icelandic Ministry of Education, Science and Culture invites all students of Icelandic philology who speak Icelandic for annual scholarships in Iceland. The operator of the scholarship program is the Árni Magnússon Institute of Icelandic Language.

The offer is addressed to students who have completed at least one year of study and speak Icelandic at the minimum level Icelandic Online 1 and 2. Priority will be given to applicants under 35 years of age.

Scholarships are awarded for the academic year 2019/2020 and will be implemented from September 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020.
Applications should be sent directly to the Árni Magnússon Institute until December 1, 2018.
