Eng. Michalina Zając, a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Łódź, won first place in the Association of Polish Mechanical Engineers and Technicians (SIMP) competition for the best thesis on mechanical engineering in the 2022/2023 academic year. The topic of the thesis awarded in the SIMP competition was the design of a jaw rehabilitation device for people suffering from trismus.

The awarded thesis “Design of a device for the rehabilitation of the human jaw” was made at the Institute of Machine Tools and Machine Building Technology under the supervision of Dr Eng. Paweł Żak.

Eng. Michalina Zając is a graduate in automation and robotics. She has been working in the IT industry for more than two years. As part of international projects, she is involved in the implementation of production management systems. She works as a software developer.
