The University of Bielsko-Biala (UBB) will collaborate with Rockwell Automation – the world’s largest manufacturer of industrial automation systems. The company’s leading brands are Allen-Bradley and FactoryTalk software. Rockwell Automation is present in more than 100 countries worldwide. Its headquarters are in Milwaukee, USA. 

The agreement signed by the partners opens up new opportunities for UBB students and academics, through the implementation of joint research projects, the organisation of internships and apprenticeships for students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, as well as workshops, training courses and commissioned lectures given by Rockwell Automation specialists.  

Rockwell Automation will set up a teaching laboratory equipped with Allen-Bradley hardware and software, together with employees from the Bielsko-Biała university. In addition, the company will prepare and equip a leisure and study area for the students.
