Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin visited the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) on 22 January. The Deputy Prime Minister was invited by the Rector of the Warsaw School of Economics, Prof. Marek Rocki.
The university authorities thanked the minister for co-financing the construction of the scientific and didactic building at ul. Batory in Warsaw. The subsidy for this purpose amounted to PLN 30 million. The conversation also concerned current issues related to the implementation of the new Law on Higher Education and Science.
– The Warsaw School of Economics anticipated the solutions that are included in the Constitution for Science, and it has been the leader in Poland providing solutions guaranteeing the improvement of the level of education of students and scientific research for almost 30 years. I wish that the spirit of perfection and perseverance in forming the elite of the young generation should always be guided by the Warsaw School of Economics – wrote the deputy prime minister in the memorial book of the university.
