Scientists from the Gdańsk University of Technology worked on the creation of the first Polish telehandler AGroLeo. It is narrower and more manoeuvrable than other loaders with the same capacity. It will be used in agriculture and construction.
AGroLeo is one of the most versatile handlers on the market, distinguished by relatively small dimensions in relation to the lifting capacity. It can move in any area, including narrow squares and even in buildings. Central adjustment of the telescope boom ensures good stability of the vehicle despite its small width.
The team of Hydraulics and Pneumatics of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Gdańsk University of Technology, commissioned by Adam Gordziejczyk Hydro-Metal company, made a hydraulic drive project, construction documentation and strength calculations for the frame and loader boom. The Hydro-Metal company obtained funding from the Polish Agency for Industry Development for the project as part of the “Bonus for Innovations” program.
