On March 8, 2019, in the auditorium of the former University Library Madeleine Albright, an American diplomat who was the first woman in history to be the secretary of state of the USA will meet Warsaw students.

Her visit to the University of Warsaw is connected with last year’s edition of her book entitled “Fascism. Warning”.

In the years 1997-2001, Professor Albright held the office of secretary of state of the USA, nominated by President Bill Clinton. Earlier, she worked at the White House, where she dealt with foreign policy. She was also a member of the Woodrow Wilson International Center at the Smithsonian Institution, as well as an American ambassador to the United Nations.

Meeting with Prof. Albright will be conducted in English with the possibility of a translation.
