The Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and the capital city of Warsaw have signed an agreement on cooperation in providing sustainable development of the city as well as spatial and economic policy. On the occasion of the event, the president of Warsaw announced a scholarship program for PhD students interested in researching Warsaw.
– It is a chance for development for young scientists – said Rafał Trzaskowski. Both the agreement and the scholarships for PhD students will enable effective implementation of the objectives of the Warsaw2030 Strategy, i.e. our city as an open and friendly metropolis with active residents. The agreement will allow to further use the potential of the Warsaw science sector to improve the quality of life in the city, to include researchers in the dialogue on the development of the city – added Mayor Trzaskowski.
The agreement also includes the working group that will elaborate recommendations on spatial changes of the area in front of the SGH main building and the inclusion of the campus in the public space of the city.
