Until 30 April 2019, scholars can submit their work in the XXIV Competition for the Siemens Award. The competition is organized on the basis of an agreement between Warsaw University of Technology (PW) and Siemens Company. Its aim is to promote outstanding achievements in technology and scientific research conducted by employees of academic and non-academic institutions in Poland.

The competition should report works related to the scope of Siemens AG’s activity, and above all to the following areas of science and engineering: electrical engineering and energy, in particular in the generation, transmission and use of electricity; electronics and information technology as well as automation and robotics; rail transport, traffic management and control.
