Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki unveiled a plaque commemorating the strike of students in March 1968 at the Wroclaw University of Technology.
“Wroclaw was a beautiful city of the struggle for freedom, my city. The outbreak of March 1968 is a great reason for praise and glory”- highlighted the prime minister, who participated in the celebrations and the meeting with the heroes of March 68.
They had the courage to be brave – said Prof. Cezary Madryas, rector of the Wrocław University of Technology. In turn, the participant of those events, Prof. Marian Sobierajski reminded that protests at other Wrocław universities began from the rally organized on 12 March 1968 at the Wrocław University of Technology to defend students who had been protesting for four days in Warsaw.
