Almost PLN 19 million will be allocated by the Ministry of Science to co-finance the Vilnius branch of the University of Bialystok. Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin signed an agreement between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the University of Bialystok regarding co-financing the reconstruction and extension of the building of the Faculty of Economics and Information at the Białystok branch of the university in Vilnius.
Since October 2007, the Faculty of Economics and Information Technology in Vilnius has enabled the Polish to study in Vilnius at the academic level, in Polish.
Over 600 graduates have already graduated from the Faculty, currently, 293 students are studying there. At the beginning of its activity, the University educated at two bachelor’s degrees: economics and informatics, in the academic year 2014/2015, second-degree studies were also launched. For the last few years there are also first-degree studies available in European studies.
