29.07.2019

McDonald’s in cooperation with the Leon Koźmiński University in Warsaw created a new field of bachelor studies for network employees – management in the QSR sector (quick service restaurants).

Only McDonald’s employees will be able to apply for this study. They are to be part-time undergraduate students with a minimum of three months’ work experience, secondary education, but no higher education. Classes will start in October 2019, and the costs of educating students will be covered entirely by the employer. The course will be conducted in a dual system, which consists in combining learning with practice in the company.

The study program includes 1100 hours, half of which will be devoted to workshops and internships at McDonald’s, and another half to the classes and lectures at the university. The study program will include issues related to environmental protection, team management, marketing, finance, IT or logistics.
