The Polish Sociological Association and the Institute of Sociology of the University of Wroclaw are inviting participants to the seventeenth National Sociological Congress under the slogan: “Me, My, They? Subjectivity, identity, affiliation” which will start on September 11 and will last four days.

The slogan of the event allows us to adopt a new view on integration and conflicts, on capital and values, on the various faces of multiculturalism and the consequences of contemporary migration, on social and life styles, on the identity and state of Polish sociology, on the role of sociologists in the modern world, for old and new social problems and for repealing or establishing different social boundaries.

The invitation to the congress is addressed to representatives of local authorities and institutions interested in social development, as well as to doctoral students of various universities, high school graduates and those who would like to stimulate their sociological imagination, ie better understand their place in the world.
