The Library of Science already has over 300,000 articles from 1,000 Polish scientific journals.
– We want to treat this achievement as an opportunity to summarize the long-term activities of the University of Warsaw ICM team for openness in science and meetings with publishers and editors of scientific journals, thanks to which it is possible to develop open science resources.

On October 21, 2019, the Practical Perspectives of Scientific Publishing workshop will be held at the University Library in Warsaw, addressed to publishers and editors of scientific journals.

During the event, the organizers will talk about the current situation of journals in Poland, in particular the needs and expectations of publishers and editorial staff related to open access. They also want to consider how to ensure openness and meet the challenges arising from changes in the area of the law and scientific policy of the state.
