The Library of the Gdańsk University of Technology and the IT Services Center are inviting participants to the 3rd Pomeranian Open Science Conference: Open Data for Science and Society on October 9-10. The conference will be preceded by an international Focus on Open Science workshop, organized on October 8 in cooperation with Scientific Knowledge Services, the Association of European Research Libraries and the University College London Press.

As part of the conference, the participants will present their works regarding repositories of open scientific resources, publishing Open Access as well as open research data and their practical use.

Focus on Open Science workshops will be devoted to the issues related to Open Science – the challenges posed by the implementation of Plan S in Europe, an international initiative whose goal is to openly publish publications created under grants. The concept of Civic Science will also be presented. The workshops will be conducted in English.
