Emily Palmer, secretary general of UNA Europa, a university network of seven leading European universities, co-founded by the Jagiellonian University (UJ), was a guest at the Krakow university.
UNA Europa is the union of seven European universities initiated in 2018 including: KU Leuven, Université Paris 1 Panthéon – Sorbonne, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Freie Universität Berlin, University of Edinburgh, Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna and the Jagiellonian University.
– Our goal is to build transnational alliances, promote European identity, increase the competitiveness of European education, strive for sustainable development and continuous improvement, as well as to focus completely on the needs of students – emphasized Emily Palmer.
The goal of UNA Europa is to create a unique form of cooperation under which joint research, educational programs and activities for local communities and European society will be conducted.
