On November 20 for the Faculty of Ethnology and Education Sciences of the University of Silesia is inviting participants to the international scientific conference “Unequal education. Forum for the exchange of thoughts and experiences”. The event will interest representatives of schools, kindergartens, special education institutions, third-century universities, local government institutions, NGOs and trade unions.

The conference issues include gender inequality in relation to education; people with disabilities in educational practice; opportunities and barriers in the education of older people; ethnicity and educational opportunities and achievements of students.

The organizers are also planning the following topics: people of different sexual orientation in educational institutions; believers and non-believers at school; improving educational opportunities in villages and in small towns, and the role and opportunities of local governments in implementing equal and equitable education.
