The Polish Mycological Association together with the European Mycological Association are organizing the 18th Congress of European Mycologists, which will take place in Warsaw and Białowieża on September 16-21, 2019.
It will be a scientific event comprehensively covering the role of fungal biodiversity in various environments. The aim of the congress is to present the latest achievements of mycology and to promote applied mycology, biotechnology and the latest methods of studying mushrooms.
One of the events accompanying the congress will be the lecture “Mycology: the latest weapon in the crime arsenal”, which professor Patricia E.J. Wiltshire, lecturer and researcher at the University of London, specializing in palynology, mycology and microbiology will give at the Copernicus Science Center in Warsaw on September 17.
