The Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Zielona Góra will host the Congress of Deans of the Law Faculties of Public Colleges on September 4-6. The meeting will be accompanied by the scientific conference ‘Science and law teaching in the light of Act 2.0. First experiences and perspectives.”

The choice of the topic of the conference was dictated by the urgent need to exchange views and experiences and to discuss the effects of new solutions as the provisions of the so-called Constitution for science are a novelty for the entire academic community, including lawyers representing legal sciences and teaching young lawyers.

The leading introductory papers for the discussion will be given by eminent members of the bodies appointed on the basis of the new Act – the Scientific Excellence Council and the Scientific Units Evaluation Committee. The assessment of the practical effects of the higher education reform and its impact on each of the scientific centers represented in the Congress is also expected.
