The University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn will receive a total of almost PLN 50 million under the university internationalization program in the education- said the deputy minister of science and higher education, Prof. Wojciech Maksymowicz.

The program serves to internationalize universities in the field of education, improve the work of academic teachers and adapt education to the needs of economic development. It will also subsidize UWM faculties that did not participate in the previous project, such as the medical faculty. Future doctors will receive special funding for trips abroad to academic centers.

Prof. Wojciech Maksymowicz noted that it was possible to increase the amount of funding for the space program for the department of geodesy and construction, which will gain an additional 1.5 million PLN. The branch of the University of Ełk will also receive the money.
