The Silesian Intercollegiate Center for Education and Interdisciplinary Research of the University of Silesia in Chorzów was awarded in the 10th “Brand- Silesian” competition in the science category for its significant contribution to the development of the Silesian Voivodeship.

As part of the ” Brand- Silesian” competition, people and institutions that act for the benefit of the Silesian Voivodeship and create its positive image both in Poland and in the world were awarded. The competition was settled during the 25th Gala of the Regional Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Gliwice.

The competition is organized by: Marshal’s Office of the Silesian Voivodeship and the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the ‘Dziennik Zachodni’, TVP Katowice and Radio Katowice. This year the awards were presented in 13 categories.
