Professors Beata Glinkowska-Krauze and Bogusław Kaczmarek from the Faculty of Management at the University of Lodz (UŁ) became members of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine in the Management.

The Łódź scientists have been carrying out joint scientific and research projects for several years, including classes for Ukrainian students. In 2016, a Scientific Center for Scientific and Research Cooperation: Poland-Ukraine was established at the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz. This is the only such scientific unit in Poland. The coordinator of the work was the Department of the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz, which is represented by Prof. Glinkowska-Krauze and Prof. Kaczmarek, and in Ukraine Prof. V. Chebotarov. As part of this cooperation, several international scientific conferences and seminars were organized (three in Poland in Łódź and two in Ukraine in Kiev).

Scientists are planning further Polish-Ukrainian seminars and monographs, scheduled for November 2019 in Ukraine and the following event for 2021.
