Three projects of scientists from the chemical faculty of the Gdańsk University of Technology received funding under the competition Leader of the National Center for Research and Development. The allocated funds total almost 4.5 million PLN.

Funded projects include: “New diagnostic tests for the detection of anti-Toxoplasma gondii antibody in animal sera based on recombinant chimeric proteins”, “Development of technology for the production of foamed polyurethane-rubber composites for use as suppressive materials” and “Integrated prototype of photo-supercapacitor for storage electricity obtained from the conversion of solar radiation”.

The goal of the Leader program is to expand the competences of young scientists in independent planning and management of research teams during the implementation of scientific projects whose results can be implemented in the economy.
