The University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz joined the group of institutions awarded the HR Excellence In Research logo. The decision on this matter was made by the European Commission.

The HR logo is one of the activities of the European Commission under the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers. The distinction is awarded to scientific and research institutions which create a friendly work and development environment and have transparent rules for the recruitment of researchers, based on the principles resulting from the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.

The benefits of the logo include increasing the attractiveness of employment, a chance to strengthen the image as a place creating good conditions for the development of research and science, promotion among international organizations and scientists as a university providing researchers with the best working and development conditions, and receiving European grants.
