The University of Economics in Katowice, together with six European universities is implementing the international PROMINENCE project: Promoting Mindful Encounters Through Intercultural Competence And Experience.

The aim of the project is to improve the didactic process of students in the field of intercultural communication in order to provide the labor market with well-prepared graduates in the design and implementation of internationalization processes for small and medium-sized enterprises.

PROMINENCE in its assumptions refers to the key policy objectives of the European Union regarding higher education, opening new opportunities for cooperation between teachers, students and employers.
Project partners are: the Finnish Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences; German Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences; Bulgarian University of Economics in Varna, Slovak University of Economics in Bratislava, French University of Savoie Mont Blanc and Hungarian University of Debrecen.
