The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has launched a new project called “National Academic Team”. It is a project to support students-athletes in the education process.

The project to support the educating of those student as part of the project National Academic Team aims to enable them to pursue a parallel sports career and academic education, – said Jarosław Gowin, the deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Higher Education at a press conference at the headquarters of the Polish Olympic Committee.

Sometimes it is necessary to leave the stadium or pitch and start working beyond sport. In such cases, a good education can be as extremely valuable as almost the Olympic gold – added Deputy Prime Minister Gowin.
