A student of the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław was awarded in the competition for the best diploma thesis on modern agriculture and agri-food processing, organized by the BNP Paribas bank. This year’s competition included forty-five works: twenty-three master’s theses, twelve engineering and ten undergraduate works.
The subject of the works had to include the development of agribusiness, i.e. progress, innovation and development of farms, rural areas and other activities bringing added value to rural society, the natural environment, farms and the agri-food industry.
Błażej Kowalewicz, a student of the nature and technology faculty, was awarded for his work “Establishing and conducting ecological cultivation of little-known fruit plants with increased pro-health properties”.
