The Academic Choir of the Warsaw University of Technology won the Stefan Stuligrosz Grand Prix of the Polish Choral. Before Polish choral teams competed in one of the six oldest Polish choir competitions.

The Academic Choir of the Warsaw University of Technology won the main prize this year at the Feliks Nowowiejski International Festival of Choral Music in Barczewo. This award allowed the choir to participate in the Polish Grand Prix.

During the event, the choir conductor, Dr Dariusz Zimnicki received the award for the best conductor of the competition.
