The Academy of Land Forces in Wroclaw is holding a scientific conference entitled “Education of officers in the Polish Army – opportunities, challenges, barriers”. The speakers analyzed the education process of cadets carried out in military academies and discussed its effective optimization.
In the opinion of the participants, the contemporary military activities require continuous expansion of knowledge, creativity, a sense of social responsibility and development of professional competences and skills from the commanders, and the current battlefield requires harmonious cooperation with local communities and counteracting the attacks of information war.
The speeches also indicated the need to improve the recruitment and formation of commanders, professionals in command in modern military operations, with particular reference to hybrid wars. It is to training officers capable of counteracting cyberattacks, as well as using artificial intelligence in the process of command.
