The Academy of Physical Education (AWF) in Wrocław has won funding under the “Regional Excellence Initiative” programme for the project “Initiative of Excellence with the Evolution of the Academy (IDEA)”.
The key objective of the project is to improve the quality of academic activity through the implementation of activities identified in the work on the AWF Wrocław Strategy for 2020-2030.
In the SWOT analysis carried out, four operational objectives were set in the area of scientific activity, which are intended to strengthen the strengths and weaken the weaknesses of the university and, as a result, contribute to an increase in the quality of scientific activity. These are: to increase the level of social impact of the university’s scientific achievements by publishing them in journals with a wide impact; to optimise the sources of funding for scientific and research activities; to strengthen the university’s research image in the international environment; and to ensure that the scientific potential can have an impact on the economy.
