The Academy of Physical Education (AWF) in Poznań formalises cooperation with the Warta Poznań sports club. The agreement signed by the partners provides for the provision of training and courses, scientific research, fitness tests and the lending of sports facilities and student internships, the university reports.

“We believe that we have just formally started a long-term cooperation. On the one hand, it involves the possibility of internships for students of sports-related subjects at the club, and these internships play a significant role in the curriculum. On the other hand, we offer the possibility of using research laboratories, as well as organising all kinds of congresses or scientific conferences”, says the Academy’s rector, Professor Dariusz Wieliński.

The Club and the Academy have also agreed to exchange information on training methods, technical innovations and to cooperate in the organisation of sports and recreational events and business meetings.
