The Academy of Physical Education (AWF) in Poznań is strengthening its cooperation with the Wielkopolski Związek Piłki Nożnej (Wielkopolska Football Association). Under the agreement, the university and the association declare their willingness to jointly conduct instructor-coach courses to obtain Polish and international qualifications, to exchange information on new training methods and to cooperate extensively on various events. 

“This is a certain crowning achievement of our cooperation. I think that both parties to the agreement are interested in ensuring that the persons obtaining coaching qualifications have adequate preparation, both general and specialised, for example in the basics of physiology and anatomy, i.e. issues taught at universities. I make no secret of the fact that this cooperation is very important for us, if only because of the huge interest of students in specialising in football, which is understandable, as football is the most popular sport discipline in the world”, says the rector, Professor Dariusz Wieliński, AWF.
