Developing the qualifications of Poles living abroad is one of the objectives of the agreement signed between the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw and the “Wspólnota Polska” Association.
Signatories of the agreement have committed to undertake and develop activities aimed at cooperation with the Polish diaspora and individual Poles abroad. The activity is to cover science, education, culture, religion, economy, tourism and sport. The agreement is intended to provide more professional support for Polish scientists living outside of Poland including researchers, teachers, doctors, nurses, priests, students and other professional groups of Polish descent.
The objectives of the agreement will be implemented through the creation of the Academy of Polish Diaspora. Its task will be to organize seminars, debates and conferences in Polish Diaspora’s issues.
