The Academy of Technology and Humanities in Bielsko-Biała will participate in the international project of strategic partnership Erasmus +, YETI (Young Entrepreneurial Teachers Initiative).
The members of the project consortium include the Academy of Bielsko, the Czech University of Technology in Ostrava, University of Szeged (Hungary), Univations GmbH – Institute of Knowledge and Technology Transfer at the Martin-Luther University in Halle (Germany), Pedagogical University of Tirol (Austria), Bantani Education (Belgium) and University Industry Interaction Network (Netherlands).
The aim of the project is to develop entrepreneurial competences of students in the teaching. According to the EU directives, entrepreneurship is one of the 8 key competences that are the basis of lifelong learning. The YETI project aims to include a key competence in teacher education, which is now present only sporadically.
