Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan advanced in the Green Metric ranking

University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznan for the third time was assessed by the international World University ranking “Green Metric” and again proved to be the best of the Polish universities. The ranking included 780 high colleges from around the world. The University took 156th place.

The ranking, in addition to educational programs and infrastructure investments, takes into account the issue of waste management, including toxic waste, solutions in the field of water and energy saving, space management, including green innovations, development of paths for pedestrians and cyclists on campuses.

The strongest side of the Poznań university was the Morasko campus (54 place in the ranking) along with the current infrastructure such as retention tanks and green areas, as well as waste management policy on the campus (113 place).
The leading group of “Green Metric” include the University of Wageningen, Oxford University, University of California Davis and the University of Nottingham.
