The Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań has been awarded the title of EWP Champion (Erasmus Without Papers Champion). Granting the distinction, the European Commission considered that the Poznań university could act as an example at the European Union level and be pointed out as a leader of change and inspiration for others.
The EWP project aims to create a platform for the electronic transfer of Erasmus+ mobility data. An additional aim is to reduce the administrative burden on university staff and to make it easier for students to undertake mobility abroad under the programme.
The Erasmus+ programme for higher education supports international cooperation between HEIs, enables students and staff to travel, and provides opportunities to participate in international projects. The sector for higher education consists of two actions: learning mobility and cooperation of higher education institutions for innovation and exchange of good practices.
