The Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (UAM) has established cooperation with the PISOP Association Centre for Promotion and Development of Civil Initiatives. The aim of the partners is to promote and develop student volunteering and to show the potential of the third sector as an important environment for acquiring and developing competences and career planning.

The association was founded over 20 years ago in response to the need to support civic initiatives. PISOP is a member of the nationwide federation Network of Support for Non-Governmental Organisations SPLOT, in cooperation with which it initiates and supports the building of civil society.

The University invites civil society organisations and institutions to collaborate in various research, educational initiatives, events and to implement joint projects. UAM strives to respond to the needs of non-governmental organisations and informal groups.
