The Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań will cooperate with the American University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The agreement provides for cooperation in the area of research, organization of joint ventures and exchange of students and employees.

The document was signed by Prof. Charles Szypszak on behalf of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Prof. Ryszard Naskręcki, Vice-Rector of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.

The University of California is looking for a strategic partner in this part of Europe to conduct research in the field of law, history, Slavic languages, Hebrew culture and language and other scientific disciplines.

The American side is also interested in student exchange under the support of the National Agency for Academic Exchange and the Visegrad Fund as well as exchange of experience with the libraries of the Poznań university.
