The Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek, announced during a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Henryk Kowalczyk, the transfer of an additional 10 million PLN for universities that run veterinary clinics. 

The main topic of discussion at the Ministry of Agriculture was solutions to improve the quality and reduce the cost of animal treatment in veterinary clinics. The meeting was also attended by the rectors of the four universities that run veterinary clinics: The Warsaw University of Life Sciences, the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław and the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.

“Excellently educated veterinarians and access to veterinary clinics will contribute to the food security of the Polish state and our society. These are our goals”, said Minister Przemysław Czarnek during a press briefing after the meeting.
