The 1st Distributed Energy Congress will be held at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow on 25-26 September 2023 to provide a new forum for substantive debate on the challenges of the energy transition.
The event is a continuation of the Distributed Energy Forum, organised 5 times recent years as part of the ‘Development of Distributed Energy in Energy Clusters’ (KlastER) project funded by the National Centre for Research and Development (GOSPOSTRATEG programme).
The organiser of the 1st Distributed Energy Congress is AGH University of Science and Technology, and the co-organisers are the Economic Chamber of Energy and Environmental Protection and the National Chamber of Energy and Renewable Energy Clusters.
The thematic scope of the event will include problems and challenges crucial to the future of the Polish energy transition, and in particular the role that distributed energy will play in it.
Debates in sessions on, among others, innovative technologies and energy infrastructure, market building for local energy initiatives, financing and social aspects of distributed energy, climate and environmental perspectives, conditions and specifics of energy transition in cities and rural municipalities are planned.
