The AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Krakow has launched an interdisciplinary team was created at whose role is to counteract the negative effects of global warming.

“AGH for Climate” is the first inter-faculty team that coordinates research on environmental protection at the university.
It consists of representatives of five faculties of the AGH University of Science and Technology caring out intensive research in the environmental protection, in particular the fight against the effects of climate change.

The team’s task is to initiate new research, coordinate university activities in the field of counteracting and adapting to climate change, as well as to cooperate with administration, industry and research centers in Poland and worldwide.
