The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) announced the results for participation in the call “Catamaran – Preparation and implementation of joint studies.” AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow received funds to launch a new field of study called Energy and Environmental Engineering, which will be implemented together with the Shibaura Institute of Technology in Tokyo.

Prof. Eng. Janusz Szmyd submitted the program entitled “Preparation of the study program related to double diploma for the 7th level of the European Qualifications Framework in the field of Energy and Environmental Engineering” that received funding in the amount of PLN 691,400. Professor Janusz Szmyd is the AGH UST coordinator for cooperation with Japan and has been cooperating with renowned Japanese universities for 30 years.

The “Catamaran” program is implemented as part of the National Academic Exchange Agency project “Support for the institutional capacity of Polish universities through the creation and implementation of international study programs”.
