On September 16, 2019, the AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Krakow is holding the event “100th anniversary of physics at AGH”, which is organized as part of the 45th Congress of Polish Physicists.

Outstanding scientists will give plenary lectures on the history of physics at AGH and the applications of this science in medicine, finance, technology and the environment. Special parallel sessions will be devoted to particle physics, complex systems physics, environmental physics, medical physics and the use of physics in the field of nanotechnology and innovation in industry.

The 45th Congress of Polish Physicists is organized by the Krakow Branch of the Polish Physical Society and will take place on September 13-18, 2019.

The congress is attended by about 500 people representing leading domestic and foreign universities and representatives of companies conducting research and development in enterprises.
