The Faculty of Management of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków has opened a modern engineering laboratory for the Management and Production Engineering faculty.

The student laboratory under the name of Engineering Innovation Lab (EIL), certified by the American company Makerbot a producer of professional 3D printers, is intended for two engineering subjects: Reverse Engineering and Rapid Prototyping at the Faculty of Management.

There are 16 printing devices in the room, equipped with innovative software and a 3D scanner of the Polish company SmartTech. It allows each student to learn the practical principles of 3D printing during the course on an individual workplace equipped with a software workstation and a 3D printer. Each printing device is also equipped with a camera enabling remote control of the progress of the project.
