AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Institute of Mineral and Energy Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, IEA Clean Coal Center with the support of the Central Mining Institute and the Institute for Chemical Processing of Coal are the organizers of one of the world’s leading conferences on coal and energy.

The 17th International Conference on Coal Science & Technology (ICCS & T2019) will be held on November 24-28, 2019 at the ICE Kraków Congress Center.

The event takes place every two years in a different country, under the auspices of the International Energy Agency based in London and gathers several hundred delegates representing the academic community, industry and governments from around the world.

The conference will be conducted by Prof. Janusz Gołaś from the AGH University of Science and Technology and Dr Eng. Magdalena Wdowin of Institute of Mineral Raw Materials and Energy of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
